| Megknsis chapter 4 . 1/16/2015 Yes, some moments do. :) Wow, such an excellent update! Heheh...bad, Sigrid! Bad! Kidding... So sorry I haven't reviewed. I haven't forgotten your story...nor mine. Never fear, an update should be coming in just a day or two. My Sky High muses did not take kindly to being neglected over Christmas, but they've finally come out of hibernation. Speaking of stories... This could easily have been either really short, focusing only on Fili/Sigrid. Instead, it was longer, but yet never boring. I liked how the beginning kind of portrayed Sigrid's social life, and the general life of girls in the village. That whole conversation was VERY nicely done, with different girls' personality traits coming into play, and the teasing dialogue sounded very real, as well as the serious undertones of Sigrid having to think about marriage early. That whole part about her parents together, where she's all wistful, and wondering if she'll experience that, was SO sweet, with the right hint of pathos-and you didn't overdo that, either. I like all the different random characters, especially Sigrid's friend and that whole conversation-I cracked up just when Sigrid did! And of course, the meeting between her and Fili was cute, short and sweet, and the last few lines...PRICELESS. You've really got me on board with this ship. I do so hope you'll continue it! |
| casema chapter 2 . 1/4/2015 I did not know until today how much of a Fili and Sigrid shipper I am. I think I've read all the Fili Sigrid stories out there. At least I thought I did. I'm glad I found this one. A much happier chapter for our dear Sigrid. |

| Megknsis chapter 3 . 9/30/2014 Oh wow...this was so nice! It took me a second reading and the realization of what the "Reincarnation AU" thing meant for me to get it though. It was easy to sew the sparks between them, and the change of setting for the characters made it so interesting. I also love the dreams... And yes, I actually read this. I didn't just skim. I just read so much so fast I've been known to scare people. |

This was lovely and very well-written. I love both characterizations, especially Fili. He was so...well, real! And you did some very nice background for the dwarven marriage customs.
