And since we didn't see John with Sherlock in hospital after the HLV shooting (Moffat couldn't go there, considering the plotline re Mary), this helps fill that need. I'm a diehard H/C aficionado, and this is an excellent example of that! |

| Prothoe chapter 1 . 1/10/2014 Goodness, for a moment, I thought... You really had me on the edge of my seat with this story from beginning to end (and I'm glad that it had a happy one;))! Love how you portrayed John feeling utterly helpless, but still taking care of his best friend. And Sherlock, facing death, lets his mask slip: "He does reach out however, with a shaking hand, for John..." "You're...good" Awww, how cute and touching! Also like your Mycroft: "No one would call him 'Iceman' if they saw him like this..." And somehow I'm deeply moved by the fact that Sherlock's "eyes never leave John," though he is too exhausted to speak. A very telling gesture. |
