I really, really love this. I'm just sorry it had to end! Lorelai's peculiar way of dealing with things by not dealing was all perfectly in character and Luke feeling overwhelmed and stuck was perfectly Luke. And I must say, Rory's regret at not doing the mature thing to get her mum and Luke back together just cracked me up. April was also great, I could just picture her lecturing her dad!

This was really lovely. I teared up!

It's amazingly well written and totally adictive. Your writing is really good and the storyline is so beautiful. Like seriously I couldn't stop myself from tearing up. I think it was written in a realistic and gilmore like style. so all I have to say is that your story is pretty amazing and you are a really talented writer. Please continue and write a new story soon! It would be amazing to read more storys from this couple by you.

I watched that terrible movie "the Butterfly Effect" and this is SO much better! Thank you for posting this. I love this version of an "elopement" and April's involvement. This is the way it should have been.

This story is so endearing; I just adore it. Sometimes it takes a mountain to get something / somebody to move. And Lorelai's fainting spell got Sookie to move who got Rory to move who got Luke to move - and so it goes. What skill you have! Very enjoyable. Thanks so much for writing this gem for us and then sharing with us. It was wonderful. I am certainly looking forward to more writing from you. Great job!

What a great writing! I am so amazed at your skill and your perspective! Very glad that Lorelai was able to restrain herself from going to Christopher just to give Luke as much pain as she was feeling. So glad that Rory found the you know what in the bag and confronts Lorelai. So glad that Rory loves Luke enough to be able to understand and not want to alienate / hurt him even further. So glad that Lorelai ran into April so that the two could talk. So glad - just on principle - that Lorelai yelled at Taylor. And, so glad that Lorelai was able to go to Luke and quietly talk to him, to get at the gist of their relationship, what it is, its potential, and where it is going - OR not going. So glad that Luke, wonderful Luke who doesn't really trust himself with words very much, is able to say, "Don't close the door." And so glad that Lorelai is able to reply that time is the way and then her special Lorelai effect, "Please don't wait too long, we're waiting on you." Ah, what is Luke to think: Lorelai and Rory, Lorelai and . . . . He saw her right in front of him drinking the tea and eating the apple. Well, . . . . something for Luke to ponder. Amazing.
