Love doctor John and this scene would ahve worked like this just as well!

It's been exactly a whole year since you published this :D I prefer this rewrite to the actual thing... well done :)

So i feel the same way you do about John's actions in that scene, and personally i don't think it made sense for his character. Like you said he's a freaking idoctor/i, and a good one at that, and has doubtlessly experienced more than a few panic attacks himself. You'd think he would have at least recognized Sherlock's distress and tried to help him.

Anyway, thank you for re-writing this scene the waystrikeit should have gone/strike i wanted it to go. It was really lovely. i really enjoy your work.

I like your version much better than the original. John really was being an insensitive oaf. I know that they needed to have an argument for them to have the 'I meant what I said' scene, which was awesome. Plus, if John had handled the situation well Sherlock's experiment would have seemed too cold hearted. Still, it's frustrating that John would screw up like that when he's normally such a good friend.

Nice alternate look. I do wish the series let John be doctor more often, not in the clinic sense, but when out and about with Sherlock.

It would have been a good place for Doctor John, so I'm glad you provided!
