Anna Leonowens tries to come to terms with what happened at the banquet. Based on the 1956 movie starring Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner. **I do not own the rights to the musical, characters or plotline. I am simply imagining how her thoughts play out after she danced with the King.**

Anna and the King both dream on the ending of the evening of the party thrown in honour of the Englishmen.

Such puzzling things that he could not comprehend - monogamy. And however, that look. As if it were magic, or at least it was to her. He had heard the stories of love, etcetera. Monogamy. Such a silly foreign tradition. Etcetera. Then again, listening to her talk was entrancing in itself...The King's point of view, his thoughts on Anna and their dance, no direct interaction.

My mind was on cruise control when I wrote this story. It shows the events of "The King & I" as seen through the eyes of Anna's son Louis.

A journal that details the experiences of Jinn Nee, a young girl wed to the King of Siam. Follows the plotline of the musical, showing the young girl's feelings through all the significant parts... and goes a little bit past the end of the musical.
