Mewtwo is searching for his remaining cells. Tim is bonding with his father and trying to be a detective. Both think they don't need a partner, but when their paths cross again, they discover that the only way they can solve this case...is together. Chapters switch between Tim and Mewtwo's POV.

Life has been great for Harry Goodmen. He reconnected with his son Tim and he's going to get married soon. His life comes crashing down when he hears of a robbery.

Still finding his way after some months in Ryme City, Tim and Dad visit Grandma and he finds his Pokemon partner where he least expects it.

Harry gets an unexpected guest in his house and he decides to be what Mewtwo never had.

In the sequel Tim and Pikachu are still looking for Tim's father (In my version Mewtwo didn't seprate Harry and Pikachu). One day the get a package from doctor Waals, who has clues about Harry. But doctor Waals is also missing. Together with Lucy and her Psyduck they head to Cappucci Island. Where they meet Mateo and his Chimchar and also new enemies. Reviews are welcome.

Before he can find out, he gets wrapped up in a detective case. Will he find the culprit and his identity? Takes place after Detective Pikachu gets away from the car wreck, and before he meets Tim.

The first time Tim heard the sneeze he was in the living room of his dad's, their, apartment and naturally assumed the high-pitched pichu! was Pikachu.
