However, the Rankin/Bass Pinocchio disliked his performance so he went to the Disney universe to appoint the Disney Pinocchio to perform the show instead.

There was a circus in Paris,France starring a living wooden clown named Clerny. He didn't want to do circus shows anymore but the Disney Pinocchio convinced him eventually.
