I got bored so I played the Long Dark and wrote this as I played. The first week of possibly many more. It'll end when my character dies, haha.

A man reluctantly returns home to pick up the pieces of his life, only to have it changed forever.

"If you're reading this. I'm probably dead..." The Long Dark is a beautiful game and I highly recommend it, if your into punishingly difficult survival strategy this game is for you, even if you just have 20 to spare get this game it's that good! Cold… It seemed to be all that was on His mind anymore. The blistering, painful, cold. He struggles everyday fighting the harsh frost, so alone, but Everything will change when he finds out he isn't the only one left, but the question remains, is that a good thing?

The geological phenomenon has steadily been growing and moving south. The entire United States has been buried under snow and ice and millions are no doubt dead. Food, water, and temperature are now the only three things that matter in life and James will do everything he can to keep from fading into the Long Dark.

As the overwhelming glacial frostbite nears ever closer, he must keep himself alive by any means necessary. Our protagonist's story starts at the beginning; a daring plane right, a destructive crash landing, and temperatures well below zero. He'll soon find out that where he's crash landed is far more violent than he could have ever known.

The collapse left an ever lasting winter. Will is a survivor. This will follow his journey surviving in the unforgiving world. (Rated T for blood violence and some swearing) On temporary hiatus as I focus on other stories and things.

Survival is hard. Especially out here, alone in the freezing wilderness. No people, no phones, no electricity, no GPS. Maybe this is the end of the world, I don't know. It sure as hell feels like it. But I want to survive.
