Rumors say, hidden in the deepest parts of Deepnest, lives a horrendous creature. A creature that scours the memories of bugs and takes on the appearance of those held dear, to lure them into its lair. They say it's an unsightly beast, and if you ever come across it, well...it is said that those who follow the beast, never come back. Nosk wouldn't say that's completely true.

The White Lady hadn't ever expected to see another one of the vessels after what happened with the Pure Vessel, but here they were standing right in front of her. (Quick one-shot. Takes place during the base game.)

Los Angeles, California. July of 1990. A young woman, a petty thief, on the run for shooting an "unarmed" man in broad daylight, accidentally finds her way into a flourishing Hallownest. Prequel to Ethnoentomology.

Hornet never thought she could call the days of the infection 'simple', but her siblings so loved to complicate things, didn't they? Of course, she'd never have it any other way. Even if it did mean she was a child again. (In a desperate attempt to escape defeat, the Radiance tries to flee through time itself. It goes about as well as you'd expect.)

"Ethnoentomology is the study of the relationship between insects and people." A lone human staggers his way into Hallownest with no recollection of how he got there. Or any recollection of anything, really. With no skills in survival or combat, his only hope is to follow this small Knight creature around until he finds his way home. Or until this alien disease kills him first.

After the Pure Vessel has transformed from their child stage into an adolescent stage, something seems to be wrong with them. Not only this but the Pale King has to face his feelings regarding the Pure Vessel.

When the Pale King awakens after the Radiance's defeat, he begins a campaign of utter domination against the world outside of Hallownest. As the "enlightenment" starts, a young human will have to make an alliance with an insect warrior to survive. Contains transformation elements. This is my first story so please R&R.

The Radiance and the contagious infection has been eradicated, the black egg has finally released its prisoner, and the land of Hallownest seems ready to move on and start anew. But there is one question that still remains, what happened to the "Ghost of Hallownest"? Rated T for language and mild adult situations. Godmaster Spoilers ahead.

In a world where the dreamers were never killed and Hallownest has moved on, The Radiance wakes up in the Abyss. It's time for her to move on too. Everything is just so different though! And what is with all these vessels running around?

The Pale King was entirely too busy to deal with two children conceived under entirely different circumstances for entirely different reasons. Not that the universe or Herrah seemed to care for such things.

The knight helped Sly recover from the infection. Now Sly can do the same for Myla, and Myla can live again. With the infection gone, there's work to be done.

The Infection has slowly begun to creep back into the dreams of Hallownest bugs, and the Pale King and His court are nowhere to be found. Though Hornet knows the only way to protect her home is to seek out the answers to these difficult questions, she fears what revelations such answers may bring. If Hallownest has begun to fall, were all of their efforts even worth it in the end?

The darkness called them awake, and the light called them to rise. But the others called them a home. And there could be no greater call than this.

The Pure Vessel hadn't expected to ever walk out of the Temple of the Black Egg, and it certainly hadn't expected to find a home and a family on the other side. Surviving the Radiance was one thing, but learning to live in a world it had been denied its whole life was a challenge it had never been prepared to face. Nor were the thoughts it could no longer ignore.

The bargain made between her and the Pale King should have taken Herrah's life, but by some unexpected twist of fate she finds herself waking to a world freed of Infection. But that isn't the only miracle she's faced with upon her return from the Dream. A reunion with one child was almost more than she could bear, but being reunited with a second was something entirely unexpected.

The Pure Vessel knew what it had to do, for the sake of Hallownest, for the sake of its King. It thought it was prepared for that ultimate sacrifice, and the fate such a sacrifice carried. To think that - to think at all - was in fact the very heart of its failing, in the end.

The Knight is well aware of the dangers that dwell in the depths of Deepnest, but what they never expected was to find something that could give them hope. ...Or so they thought.

After saving their sibling from the sun goddess's influence, they're now trapped within the Black Egg. Waiting for the unknown future...while also having the Radiance as their company.
