When the trap meant to kill von Glower fails and only leaves him injured, Gabriel finds himself with a heap of unsolved problems and very confused thoughts regarding von Glower himself, the true nature of lycanthropy and his own feelings about both.

When a young girl comes into Wolfgang's guardianship, he realizes there is much more to her 'family history' than would be safe to know, and he finds he cannot look the other way. -Takes place about 5 years before GK1. Rated T for later chapters.
