Archangel Gabriel convinced the lower angels to exterminate humanity for he believes that God had vanished because of them. The lower angels agreed and they began to possess humans in their plan to exterminate them. All the angels, even the higher ones, had all lost hope and joined Gabriel, except for Archangel Michael.
