After having a horrendous experience with Dr. Peter Zylbergold at Loblaws' walk-in clinic, Ashley Wells vows to never return to the clinic again. However, when the Rescue Heroes are called to assist local firefighters deal with a fire at Loblaws, Ashley sees Peter again. How will she deal with the situation?

Ashley Wells and her father, John, decide to visit the Andersons in Clarke's Beach, NL. However, when a fire occurs in the Andersons' backyard, the Rescue Heroes show up. Ashley decides to assist the Rescue Heroes and, after assisting, is asked to join the team.

Three children are found outside of the Rescue Heroes Command Center. After they're brought inside, Matt Medic discovers that the eldest child had several bruises, cuts, and other injuries all over her. Will he be able to find out what had happened to her and give all three of them a safe, new place to call home?

Matt Medic's niece Patricia Mudslide Medic along with her rescue dog Rose comes to visit the Rescue Heroes command center after finishing up the final day of Rose's training to become a rescue dog. She applies to the rescue team. Will she and Rose pass the qualifying exam?
