Rewritten for purposes of my series! Rick, Jedda, LJ and Kshin along with Zuffy enter a shuttle at an unusual type of hotel the Defenders of the Earth are visiting and encounter a mysterious entity that is possessing one of the passengers and repeating after everyone else on board.

When Flash's niece Kendra joins the team, Kendra learns the origins of the Defenders of the Earth, explaining on how they came to be after that she takes part of her first mission when Astra returns to get revenge on Flash Gordon, and uses Rick as leverage!

They find themselves in the greatest fight of their lives when Ming the Merciless unleashes a new weapon upon Earth and Mongo.

Shortly after Jedda leaves the team, she and others are swept into a saga of family drama and other personal issues amidst an ongoing series of new adventures.
