The 2008-2009 recession adversely affects not only Quinn's life, but the lives of everyone she knows. Daria is forced to move back in with her parents while everyone is losing their jobs. They increasingly lean on each other as they all hit a financial rock bottom.

Time passes and Daria is at a point in life where there is an opportunity for one last great adventure. She chooses a very big adventure. It is one with no guarantees even of return! While certainly out of her comfort zone, Daria finds that even great adventures can reflect the day to day life she has known before. It is also time to reflect on her life.

Daria quickly finds out that life after college isn't as perfect as people always painted it. Full of uncertainty and indecision, she moves back in with her parents in Lawndale to give herself time to decide. Which, admittedly, would be easier if a certain musician would stop trying to rekindle the feelings she thought she'd left in the past.

Life goes on for Quinn and her live in boyfriend, Jim. The young couple face life together in all of it's craziness. See them be tested in ways that are, as always, comically ironic. They learn that, like the song says, "Life is so Strange."

The saga continues with Quinn and Jim now a live in couple continuing to navigate the adult world. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder what the hell I've been smoking!

Trent finds Daria in a troubling state. Friendship is necessary and from troubled times one can persevere. Sometimes it takes someone else to point out things that should be obvious.

Picking up four years after the original mini-series, Quinn is now finished with college and ready to start her future. She has it all planned out, too bad life keeps getting in the way.
