What he had an Unnatural with a very convenient power? Or, Warner wakes up in a bed and realizes he's shorter and is missing a few scars.

This is an add in scene where The Reestablishment holds it annual ball held in Sector 45. Warner asks Juliette to accompany him for a magical night but will everyone be happy about this idea? Romance runs high in this short story.
