What long term consequences does killing Lennie have for George? How will he cope when the past is brought back up?

Yes I read the book, but I also watched the movie. A retelling of the fight scene between Curley and Lennie told from Curley's point of view.

This is an epilogue I wrote for my English class in tenth grade (which was two years ago) since we finished the book, "Of Mice and Men", and the teacher wanted us to create an epilogue for it and graded it as well. This story is a little old because of doing it two years ago but its good in my opinion though. Hope you like it! Please read and review it.

After the events in Of Mice and Men, Slim goes off to the war. This is his last letter to his beloved. Originally a GCSE piece, I thought I'd share this with you.

Lennie had a bit of a surprise after he was given a puppy by Slim. Lennie/George.

George and OC. George and Lennie come to work on Tyler's ranch. Curley's wife is not the only woman there. The other happens to be Curley's little sister. (WARNING: Lennie is NOT going to die)

An interlude, occuring after the fight with Curley, and then after Lennie's death. Explores homosocial/possibly homoromantic behavior, but non-sexual.

What if George was still a child when Aunt Clara died? How would things go then? Sometimes, happy endings for orphans are possible.

An extra (little) scene after Chapter 6. I was slightly inspired, and bored. Only implied George X Slim-nothing too terrible!

This was a task for my English homework and I didn't want it to go to waste so here you go. I thought the ending was to sad and emotional so I thought I would write my own alternate ending that was a lot happier. WARNING; Boy x Boy and Girl x Boy. Don't like don't read. Simple. George is VERY upset that he killed his lover. When suddenly he gets a surprising visit! Warning: if you do not agree with gays, turn away NOW. No flames should be aloud!

But he still knew, deep as the sun was setting, why he felt despairing: it was the guilt. It was a certain pain that he bear upon his back. A sin, indelible; a crime without punishment. Rather, it was the crime he had committed years ago, the one act that changed his life forever. Lennie was dead… and it was all his fault. Warning: Cursing and alcohol use.

Lennie and George never really got their happy ending. Candy and Crooks had their problems too. On the day that the boys are run off the ranch, George had to make a life-changing choice, to shoot, or not to shoot. The story says he shot. But what if he didn't? What if they ran off again, and actually made it? This is a snapshot of a day in the life of the dream, if it came true.

George's Point of View. What happened when George discovered Curley's wife, dead on the barn floor? How did he make the decision to end Lennie's life? And how did he cope afterwards with the pain and the knowledge that he himself had killed his best friend? A two-shot for my GCSE Creative Writing Assessment, I'm only putting it up because it got full marks, what do you think?

Just a new ending to the mice and men book

For Lennie Small, normal was not a good thing. But he always forgot the reason why. AU

This is something I did for school as and extra chapter thingy. Tells about what happens to most of the main characters.

Something for English class. A ranch hand witnesses the scenes in the bunkhouse when George and Lennie first arrive. He runs off and tells the whole thing to his friends in the barley fields. Rating is only for slight language. Nothing serious.

George reflects on the actions he took against Lennie, and whether or not he made the right decision by shooting him.
