The old Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice has multiple different endings. The most tragic by far is the one where the dead Orpheus isn't given a funeral and can never rejoin his lover in the Underworld. But for Kay and Theo, it doesn't have to be that way… (aka this book ruined my life so I'm writing angry fanfic to set things right)
