An epilogue to the Graveyard Book. We get to follow Bod as he reminiscences over his life after leaving the graveyard.

This is a follow-up chapter on The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. It takes place 70 years after Nobody Owens left the graveyard. I created it as a project for my literature class, and I hope you enjoy it!

Silas had born witness to many things over the course of Nobody Owens's long and fulfilling life. But now it was time for Silas to bear witness to Bod's final night of life, before his former ward finally took his long awaited ride with the Lady on the Grey.

Scarlet wakes up one night from an unsettling dream.

When the time is right everyone shall ride with the grey lady.

Bod has grown-up and left the graveyard. Despite this, the characters from the graveyard worry about Bod, especially Mr. and Mrs. Owens and Silas. What is Bod going to do now that he has left the graveyard and where will he go?

She would never know why the word haunted her.

It's 1941 and Bod and Scarlett are stuck in Auschwitz Concentration Camp. In a final effort, the two try to escape the clutches of Commander Sleer and attempt to find their way home. A dark AU of the chapter where Bod and Scarlett meet the Sleer.

It was a half-joking suggestion of Mother Slaughter's, him finding the graves of Bod's first family.

It is just what the title suggests. We get a glimpse into Silas's thoughts and emotions when Bod is to leave the graveyard. I checked all the dialogue and actions so that it would match the book, it does. Please read and review. (please?)
