I have been a member at fanfiction.net for a little over two years to date. I have been reading and "surfing" through fanfiction.net since 2003. I have read and reviewed hundreds of stories.
When proof reading a story I will have the expectations that the author will know basic proper grammar. This includes, but is not limited to: Spelling, Punctuation, Tense Usage, etc.
For the “more experienced” writer, I will be expecting parallel structure, in addition to the proper grammar.
Acceptable: -Cliff Hangers Unacceptable:
-Sentence fragments -Stories with more than 20 Misspelled Words -Silly Careless Mistakes.

Proper Grammar/Spellings Proper Tense Usage Parallel Structure Story Continuation Sense: Meaning the story makes sense for anyone to understand from beginning to end.

Sometimes I do leave sentence fragments if I feel they help the story or sometimes, even I, will not notice that they are sentence fragments.
Please to not ask me if the sentence makes sense accurately, in accordance with the 2006-2008 English department rules. If it makes sense to me, I will be under the assumption that anyone else can understand it. Trust me I have read some pretty interesting stories where even I could not follow the plot line.
I will not always catch whether or not the sentence has a subject, predicate, dependent and independent clause. Even most published literature does not meet all the required standards, so I do not expect anyone here to be entirely perfect.

I can pretty much handle/tolerate anything, from fluff, fairy tale, straightforward serious to gay slash, male pregnancies, drug/alcohol abuse.
Basically whatever you want to throw at me, as long as it is capable of holding interest, I’ll read it.

I will pretty much read anything, even if I do not follow it, with the following few exceptions: I WILL NOT READ ANY STORY PERTAINING TO SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.
I do not really follow Anime with the exception of Avatar: The Last Air Bender.
-I know it can get kind of complicated if you do not follow it so unless it’s ATLAB, I probably will not understand and you can end up offended.
