I'm relatively competent with English language and grammatical rules (or I should be, as English is my first language) and I have an equally avid enjoyment of reading. Also, I have ASD (or as some may coin it, Rain Man Syndrome- though I'm high-functioning, so I'm not quite on his level) which means my ability to puzzle things over and remember details is reasonably enhanced at the cost of reduced/barely-present social skills.

I don't expect submitted material to be perfectly spelled or grammatically correct, however I do expect some effort to be made so that I can focus on other elements of the story.

-Interactions of characters, provided I know the character/s in question (albeit that with anything based on games and movies, I can easily hit Youtube and study the character's personality that way)

-Some violent scenes including but not limited to torture and fighting, as well as correct injury description or similar.

-General details and descriptions. This is especially true of anything regarding locations, weapons, vehicles, equipment and so on.

-Ensuring general flow of the story is correct.

-Anything sexual/descriptions of sexual or intimate scenes. Really not my area of understanding (thank ASD for that).

-Non-canonical interactions. I can learn them easily enough, but it takes time.

-Indecision. I can be a real pain in the...-you get the idea-where making a black-and-white decision is concerned.

(There'll be other stuff besides these things, but I can't think of them right now.)

-Mysteries. I like being able to ensure that these types of story are as 'mysterious' as humanly possible. Mysteries involving several arcs at once (e.g your average episode of Foyle's War) are even better.

-Adventures. Namely, anything that involves the story progressing over an area and deviating from its original spatial setting.

-Humour. I do enjoy a good laugh, and I do my best to make sure whatever's going on is as funny as possible.

-Completely sexual-based stories. As detailed under my weak points, I am not good at understanding or critiquing these sequences.
