I love fanfiction and all forms of stories, poetry and songwriting. I've worked a lot on editing pieces for peers at school as well as putting my own work under extreme scrutiny. I am very detail oriented and always check to make sure my stories add up and the plot all fits together. Although spellcheck is wonderful, it doesn't catch everything, and nothings more annoying than going through a story and then catching a word that takes you a minute to figure out what it is when it is spelled or used incorrectly, it takes away from the reader's experience. I don't expect to be handed perfect work, nor would I likely give a piece to read to someone that was perfect. There's always room for improvement and as a beta what I'm here to do is help you improve your fanfiction as well as make you a stronger writer. The better writer you are, the better your stories are, and the more people will enjoy them. I hope one day to publish my own book, I'm working on one right now. I'm sure there are many other aspiring authors out there and everyone including me needs help at least once in a while.

I've taken several writing courses in school that explore all types of writing and improved my skills greatly. The course heavily relied on peer editing, which means that for the past year I've been editing several stories a week that actually go towards mine and other peoples school grades. Dialogue and description can be tricky arts, but I'm very good in those areas. Character development is a huge part in any story and is another thing I love to explore and work on.

I can easily get carried away with a story and sometimes ramble in my stories. I'm working on it, and maybe we could work through it together :-) I also am not the greatest speller in the world and with the help of spellcheck and a good old fashioned dictionary I'm improving my vocabulary. Nobody's perfect, but let's attempt!! :-p

I'm not picky, but it would be best if you stuck to sending me fanfics of shows/movies/books/etc I am familiar with. Besides the CSI franchise, though I haven't written anything besides, I'm familiar with the characters from: Harry Potter, Twilight, Supernatural, Bones, Without A Trace, Grey's Anatomy, Star Trek 2009, Charmed, Criminal Minds, ER, Friends, Law & Order SVU, Power Rangers, True Blood, and just about anything Disney. The list goes on, if I didn't mention what you want betaread, message me and let me know, I'll let you know if I can take it on. I'm open to new things and I love to learn about new characters and stories and series. It's just too much fun!
