Hi all! I am a self-studied fanfic writer for the past ten years or so, and generally keep to a few select fandoms in terms of writing. I was an English teacher for ten years, and have therefore built up skills necessary for editing, proofreading, and all-around document doctoring. I have taken most of my writing/editing from writers such as Timothy Zann, and other sci-fi / adventure writers, and therefore like to concentrate on minute details of a story. Facial expressions, small gestures of the body, and detailed descriptions are what I concentrate on in a scene, and its what I like to write about. As such, most of my writing tends to be longer pieces of shorter scenes, and so on. :D

My strengths are working with detailed scenes that have a lot of characterization and interaction. Facial expressions, small movements and gestures, blocking and body movements, its all what i like to concentrate on as that has the ability to build up a lot of tension in an interaction between characters.

I am not so strong at longer pieces - as plots are something I am not to great with sticking to. Long plots tend to get lost in my writing process, and therefore most of my work gets bogged down with a million details that cause the plot to lose its focus.

I prefer romance, angst, drama, humor, and a touch of action (depending on how much). I tend to generally hover around romance / drama stories. Most of my stories I work with contain adult situations, so I do not steer clear of that.

I do not really enjoy poetry, song-fics, or anything that is too satirical.
