I am a beta reader. I will not write your story for you. I will, however, help you on your journey. However! I have a life, so I can't always reply that quickly. also I have anxiety so if I drop you that's probably because of that. sorry.

I have no problems with most pairings or plot ideas. For the most part. If you send something that is Not My Cup of Tea (and I haven't explicitly stated them in that section) I will kindly inform you whether or not I feel comfortable being your beta.

I am a polite being, and I expect you to return me the sentiment as well.

Characterization, spelling, story flow, and tense and plot consistency are my strong points. I am also willing to help you out with ideas.

If you need a few links sent your way for research purposes, I am willing to do a quick Google for you. Don't abuse it too much, though.

the finickier parts of grammar escape me, so you might want a second opinion for that. The same goes for sentence structure. I'll give it my best shot though? and I'm at least average or better than.

In some series I beta for, I haven't watched every episode/chapter/book/whatever, nor do I currently possess the ability to watch/read/whatever to fill in the holes of my knowledge of the canon. I am willing to try to plug some of the wider gaps, though! I am willing to work /with/ you and your needs.

I like shorter chapters because it doesn't take as long, but I can do it if they are sent to me in easily digestible chunks. Realism in romance is appreciated, but if it's more about the 'ship than the characters... well, it isn't that interesting.

I love stories wherein a lot of thought has been put into them, but I like dealing with simpler fare as well.

Pretty much anything's game for now.
