I'm beta reading for two authors at the minute, but during the summer I have time to do more. I do it over the Doc X exchange system on here. Whilst betaing, I do tend to move sentences, and perhaps replace words with similar ones, but I won't change the overall meaning of the sentence

I'm honest when it comes to out of character-ness. If I think you're chatacter is acting differently to how they would on the show, I'll tell you that. In certain shows, I like to think I know what certain characters would and wouldn't say. I think it's always good to have a second pair of eyes reading something, to tell you if something doesn't read right. My grammar is good, as is my punctuation, and I'm told I can phrase things well.

My spelling isn't great, but I know my way around a spellchecker, so hopefully that isn't too big a problem. I may come across as hypocritical at times, because a lot of my older stories contain a lot of plot elements that I now don't paticularly like. I find it hard to successfully write a strong beginning and conclusion to my fics, and if you need help in that respect, I'm probably not the person to come to.

At the minute, I'm writing nothing but Peter/Olivia based Fringe fanfiction, and I could probably still beta for the bill, because I used to write and read so much from that section. Hurt/Comfort and Angst are mostly my thing, but I don't mind a lot of other genres, as long as it is true to the characters

Nothing M rated. I'll read it, but I'm not good enough at writing it for me to be any use as a beta. I don't dislike poetry, but I wouldn't recommend sending one to me because I have next to no experience in them.
