I have no stories beta-ed as of now.

Expect me to be harsh- I'll tackle anything that does not make sense. I require the story to already have at least one chapter so that I may acquaint myself with your style and the story itself. Expect mistakes- nobody's perfect. No matter how thoroughly I read through something, I miss some typos and even when writing my own story, I have a tendency to go over it (though unfinished) and sometimes hastily add some ideas that may have loose ground/pass through a missing article or word.

I also review when I beta, giving points on style, story and character development when I see the need for it.

Now if you think I'll do your work justice, know that I'm more than willing to help. That would be all. :)

I attack fiercely on hanging ideas, wrong grammar and spelling. Typos are filtered quite thoroughly, though I usually miss articles. I am fluent in formal English but I handle informal with the same passion.

I love details and might demand, especially if content is lacking of description.

I lean towards the more subtle kind of story development and usually support having a story that spans three chapters and more.

I strictly maintain that, if it's not that important, all characters should retain their personality. This strength, however, is limited to anime/manga I have a handy source of reference for or a title that I am quite confident with.

I ask questions.

When I'm not busy, I'm quite lazy.

I'm extremely sarcastic. Even my sense of humor is sarcastic. I am not exactly the person you would like to work with as I usually hog the work to myself.

My love for details could hamper story development in terms of the passage of time in a story. My preference for subtleties usually have the chapter end up with a very quiet, if not mute, tone. Some people find that boring- and say that I need to inject some life. (I'm working on it. Really.)

Of course, when talking about "in-character" this is still under the bias of prejudice and my own understanding of that character. I do try to maintain a 'debater's view' and see things in different angles, however. Also, I am more comfortable working with the attitude of the character as presented in the anime. There are some exceptions, though.

Sometimes, I ask too many questions.

I accept yaoi/shonen-ai and hetero pairings.

Any genre is fine- but certain exceptions are listed on the 'not my cup of tea' area.

I have preferences in pairings. And I strongly stick to them unless you could make me believe otherwise by introducing a good story of that fandom.

Tear-jerkers, they're a waterloo for someone who strongly believes the reality of things isn't anywhere near television dramas.

Humor. Expect me to either laugh along with you or to give a complete deadpan comment since I can't ride most people's sense of humor.
