Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hey! I'm Nicholai, I'm 17 years old and I've been writing since I was about 10 years old. I'm a senior in high school and I have plans to major in English and Literature in college, and I'm currently working on writing a book of my own! I'm not the type of beta reader who'll yell at you for every little grammatical error or spelling error (but I will point them out, however) - I consider myself very laidback and relaxed. So, if you're looking for a very stern and strict beta reader, that's . . . not who I am as a beta reader. I've been told I have a very descriptive way of writing, and I consider that one of my best strengths. Outside of the usual "basic errors," I'll help point out areas where you could be a little more descriptive and give notes on how you could expand on it, and help rewrite any areas that seem confusing or fuzzy. By no means am I expecting you to write exactly like me (because I'm in no way perfect) but I'll help you get in tip-top shape the best I can! |
