Personally I think I myself need a beta, so don't expect anything I tell you to be at all intelligent, at the same time I like to help, and I reckon I'm okay at writing eh?

Well I've been writing on fanfiction.net for three years now and I've been asked to beta a few times. I don't believe in rewriting things for people, and I never want to offend so for this reason I am always a little hesitant when I begin betaing. If I do rewirte something for you I will write it in red under what you've written and explain why I have done so. I encourage people not to simply use what I have written, but to adapt their own style to it. So far as punctuation and spelling go I will edit these (again in a different colour). If you give me some instruction as to what you would like for me to concentrate on that would be best.

I can also help with summarys and the like. As I said, I've been here for a while now and I know the ropes, I also know a few tricks of the trade including how to get a couple more hits on your story XD

Sentence structure (quoting my english teacher on this) apparently is quite professional. However all writers write differently and I don't want to turn people into copies of me. Most importantly I am kind and I give detailed descriptions of why I have done something. Ideas too, I like to look at other peoples stories and give them ideas when they're stuck. Sometimes having a different approach to something is good, so if you're stuck with something (even if you don't want for me to help with the whole fic) I'd be happy to help you :)

Spelling, I do notice common mistakes, but being dyslexic I rely on my spell-checker to help me here :) Also as I said above I am hesitant to begin with. I never want to cause people offence, because of this it may take me a while to reply, but feel free to jab me if I take too long.

Something in one of my fandoms. That'd be Devil May Cry or Lord of the Rings, but I have written fics for other things such as The Matrix or Maximum Ride. I do know a lot of stories/films/manga/anime besides that though so ask if you're not sure :) My preferred genre is angst or tradgedy (partly because this is what I write) though I do enjoy reading romance and yaoi :P

Anything I know nothing about. If I don't know it I really can't help you. Apart from that I think I'd enjoy reading most things :)
