As a beta reader, I will be extremely nice about your spelling or punctuating errors. I won't call you names or say I think you're stupid for your storylines or anything like that. I respect you enough to put your work out there to be kind about your finished projects. I enjoy writing fanfiction myself. I do re-read my own fics to make sure everything is correctly spelled or punctuated. Unfortunately, no one is perfect, so a few errors escape my eye. Hey! I never claimed to have a computer brain. Just know I will give your stories extra care as a beta-reader.

I have excellent spelling, language, and punctuation skills. I was an editor for a small county paper in Alabama a few years back. So I am good at what I do. Not to mention, few supervisors have come to me to proof-read their letters or company announcements before sending out copies.

Sometimes my mind works quicker than my hands when I'm writing. So I do transpose letters ever now and then. Or leave off the 'r' in your...but never you're. I know the difference. But I am not perfect as I said above. I'm not a computer. (And even then, a computer can't tell you the correct usage, just the spelling of words.)
