Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I look over a story for someone I tend to pick up some grammatical and spelling things. I'm also pretty good at picking up moments that are worded awkwardly. Also, if there is something specific you want me to focus on when I read I can totally do that. Also, if you get stuck I can be pretty good at offering up ideas of where to go next. When I read I will tell you pretty much everything I think and it's up to you whether or not you use it. I've been an editor longer than I've been a writer. I'm also good at continuity things. |
