I'll nit-pick spelling, grammar and Americanisms in great detail. I can comment on characterisation as well to a certain extent, though I'm not so strong on that. I'm happy to use Word and put corrections in red, or another method if you'd prefer.

I'm very good at picking up mistakes in grammar and punctuation. I'm British and would use UK spellings most easily, but if you tell me you'd rather have American, Canadian or Australian spellings and grammar, I can stick to that. If you're writing for a British fandom and you're not British, I can Brit-pick customs and idioms in great detail if you want. For books I've read recently, I can also nit-pick canon details as much as you want.

I'm less good on the general editing for writing style and characterisation. I'll tell you if there are major themes that I notice, but I won't interfere with the way you want to write your fic. If it's a fandom where I haven't read the books for a while, I'll be able to do spelling and grammar, and I'll be honest so you can get another beta as well for the characterisation.

Any fandom I'm interested in. I'm pretty tolerant.

Obviously, anything where I wouldn't read that fandom. I'll object if something is graphic for no reason, but I've no problem with it if it's appropriate to the story. If something is a bad parody or so random there's no point, then I wouldn't want to read it, but I'm reasonably tolerant of bad writing.
