I am a newbie beta reader, I suppose... I guess beta-reading is like proofreading and suggesting edits...? When I edit, I look for things that don't make sense, conflict with the story already laid out, are grammatically incorrect, or something that just doesn't sit right with me.

My strengths are my creativity. If you're stuck thinking of a plot event, I might be able to help. If something isn't turning out quite right, I can suggest something to help you get from point A to point B.

I'm lazy... I get on fanfiction everyday, but when I'm lacking motivation, I might not get to your requests right away. I also try to make some stories my own. Please, please, PLEASE, tell me if this happens, and I'll try to stop it right away. I don't want to steal anyone's story.

I like most types of fanfiction. My favorite genres, in no particular order, would probably have to be romance, adventure, fantasy, and hurt/comfort. I also kinda like tragedy fics.

I do not like reading supernatural fics... If supernatural things are already in the franchise, I'm fine with it. But if you're adding something that kinda seems like a deus-ex-machina, I'd stop and respectfully decline.
