I would describe my editing style as incredibly thorough, with the focus on sentence structure. Fixing grammar of course is also a main concern but I like to focus on the "flow" of the story. Meaning, my main objective with editing is to make sure the story is one cohesive piece. To get an idea on what I like to focus on while editing, check out my stories! That way you can get a sense of my own writing style, which is very telling towards my editing one.

I honestly enjoy editing. In high school, I was an editor for my school newspaper. I am currently in college as an English major, which I plan to use to get a job at a publishing company, where I can do more editing. I also read about 600 wpm which is very helpful in giving timely editing responses.

I said before that I can be thorough, but sometimes I'll be too thorough. We might have different editing goals, and I worry that if someone wants me to work strictly on grammar, I might spread out into sentence structure as well. For me to be your beta, we would have to decide beforehand what edits you want and don't want done. Direct communication will help help me control myself from over-editing. Grammare-wise, my biggest struggles are passive voice and verb tense.

If you're serious about you're story, I will be more than happy to help you and your story reach its full potential. That being said, the more familiar I am with a fandom, the more helpful I can be.

I don't want to edit anything under 1k. While drabbles are nice, I'd rather work with one-shots and above.
