I tend to focus more on mechanics, diction, and flow when it comes to beta-reading, though I'm happy to work with you on whatever I can assist with. My schedule is a bit hectic so I won't take on too many things at a given time, but I tend to leave a browser window open with FF and my email open at all times so I'm pretty quick to respond to those I do accept. Also note that even if I don't beta for you, you can always shoot me a DM with a question or two if you'd like.

For shorter stories/chapters I'm pretty open to everything in terms of content or pairings, though I'm really not open to any sort of rape/torture stuff if doesn't serve a purpose in furthering plot (though thankfully I haven't seen much of that of late).br /br /br /

If we're talking about long stories or chapters (2000 words) I'm going to be a bit more choosey and sticking more to pairings I really enjoy reading and/or authors I either enjoy reading or have built some kind of relationship with. I want to give each story the amount of time it deserves and I can't do that if I take on too many.

Like I said, I focus on catching those stupid little mistakes we all make and making sure the story flows well, and I'm pretty good at it. I also tend to get a lot of positive comments on how I create characters and the relationships between them so I'm happy to work on helping you create more dynamic relationships & characters as well.

I can be overly picky about things, especially word choice. I put a lot of time into diction in my own work and I have noticed that I can overdo it when helping with other people's writing. I'm sure there are a litany of other things that you could find someone far better at than me, but so far that's the main one.

Obviously I really enjoy Tugger/Misto, so if your story focuses on them I can pretty much guarantee I'll help with it. I also like Munk/Lonz and Tumble/Pounce, so I'll 95% probably take those as well. I obviously I tend to favor slash, but I can work with het or f-slash (though I've never done f-slash).

In general I'm not the biggest fan of AU stories, though it depends on the extent of the change. If it's just the characters in a different locale and they're a bit more human that's one thing, but if everything's been changed about it's not my kinda thing, sorry. I'm also not the biggest fan of some pairings, but that tends to be a bit more case by case so I can't be terribly specific.
