I love to read, and I love to write. Illiteracy sickens me, especially when people are incorrect and yet so full of themselves at the same time--you know the kind of authors I'm talking about: the ones who don't understand why they're getting flamed and insist on insulting everyone in their Author's Notes at the beginning and end of every chapter. Why do we read these? I don't know, and I doubt anyone else does. A guilty pleasure, maybe?

One of my good friends, ringbearinggreasergal, got me into Beta Reading, and I think I might try my hand at it, as I haven't had a decent beta project in a while. And since FF.net is actually providing a Beta program, I figure that I might as well.

I only ever offer constructive critique. If my opinion is asked, I will give it. I appreciate getting critique as much as I love dealing it out.

This is FANfiction. Therefore, I espect characters of fanfiction to be IN character. As they were designed. I know that it's incredibly difficult to do sometimes, but making a cheap knock-off of a canon character just so you can mold it into something YOU want is not a valid excuse. I can be pretty brutal, to tell the truth, and that's what I think a lot of authors need, rather than, "The ending could have been better," or, "I like it! Keep it up!"
Don't get me wrong, something is always better than nothing, but constructive critique is always loved. And I love to give it.

I like it when people do what I tell them. I'm narcissistic, egocentric, and crazy about myself. Sometimes, it takes a good bashing for me to return down to earth, so don't be afraid to yell back at me. I'm sure there's more, but I'm tight on time for now. :/ I'll edit later.

Teen Titans, Static Shock, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pokemon, and Stargate: SG-1 are what I'm most familiar with. Other fandoms are negotiable.
