Haven't really beta'd before - does peer-review in English class count? As for my style - um, I am picky about grammar and spelling so if anyone needs help with that... I don't have many expectations, really, just - no smut. Give me at least a day per thousand words to edit/make suggestions. That's about it, really.

I am really picky about grammar and spelling (I took two AP English courses, so I think I'm qualified for at least that). I also value voice in writing, i. e. making the writing sound natural.

Sometimes I will either be too critical or not critical enough. I also have strong opinions on what makes good writing, so if an author's writing style is different from my own it could either be a good thing (I help provide balance) or a bad thing (the author will end up ignoring my advice).

I prefer stories where the author is confident in their story but not-so-confident in their spelling or grammar - I'm better at the technical aspect, I think.

I won't beta for stories with a focus on yuri/yaoi (homosexual) relationships between characters, or anything with one character in ships with multiple people. That's just my opinion, no intent to offend. Also, I won't beta anything with more sexual content than kissing or hugging or stuff around that level. As for cussing, less is more. Everything else I'd be happy to help with.
