I am a beta reader who goes by the name of Setsuna on this site. I am a delightful person who enjoys editing other's pieces of work and or just reading someone else's piece of fiction. Although I may find myself straining in the areas of essay works, I do enjoy writing and reading fictional pieces of creative types. My style of reading through someone's work is well, to say harsh would be a bad thing. Honest would be a better word to describe my criticism. I am bluntly honest in fact. If i see problems in your work, I will not be afraid to tell you about them or let you know how you can improve your work or fix it. Anyone who wishes me to read their stories or works of fiction should keep in mind my honesty and that at sometimes even though I mean to be as nice as possible, the criticism you would receive from me may sound harsh, but all in all it was meant to be taken as a something constructive and/or helpful to you. Also, do not expect me to be 100% correct in my findings, I may miss things that others would not. That is why it is always important for the writer to get many people to look over their works.

I have a strong spelling ability. In which I am very picky about. I tend to point out spelling errors faster than anything in a story or work of the literary genre. Having a very well developed sense of imagination, I do not find it hard to picture a scene portrayed on paper. However when I do have trouble getting that picture in my head, I will point out how it could be improved to display a better mental image in the mind of the readers. In writing I tend to excel on physical descriptions of either people or ordinary objects. I find it almost necessary to put in a large amount of description into many things, whether it be an essay for school or a fan fiction. I believe that a lot of descriptiveness can make a story very interesting and the type you can not put down until you're done reading it.

I have a tendency to let run-on sentences pass by my eyes and not notice them. Mainly due to the fact that as a writer, I have a tendency to get too descriptive and ignore my grammar at times. Most of the mistakes on my papers in creative writing were surrounding the area of having too many long sentences where i could have used colons, semi-colons, or other tools of grammar to make the work flow.

I would prefer to beta fan fictions of the romance genre and drama. I would also prefer the fan fictions to be in a series in which I am familiar with. If you are interested in me beta reading your fan fiction, tell me ahead of time which series it is for and I will let you know whether or not I am familiar with it enough to properly beta read it. I also do not mind horror or thriller based stories.

I absolutely will not beta read any Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z fan fictions. As well as song poems.
