Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a dedicated reader, who hates grammatical, spelling and formatting mistakes. There are some stories with great plots I wish to read, but the grammar, spelling and formatting make them hard to get into. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am great at spotting spelling errors, and as a Brit, I can beta any story set in the UK, by a non-British author. I have found it is easier for me to write speech, than to focus on the plot. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I may not be the best at making sure the plot is consistent, but I can spot the odd inconsistency. I may not be the best writer for plot, but I am good with speech. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I won't know what I will not prefer to beta, until I do. I generally read a lot of Malec and Bella/Edward stories, so would prefer to beta Shadowhunters/The Mortal Instruments and Twilight. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Incest, unless plot twisted. |
