I guess I would be a beta that's pretty easy-going... I like reading through what is sent to me and trying to make sure I have the author's true intent before I try to make huge changes.

I don't have many expectations (simply because I'm a new beta), but I guess an expectation I have is that if someone sends me something to edit, they need to be available for me to ask them questions I might have for them. If I am sent something to review, I would like for them to respond to a question I might have within 36 to 48 hours of me asking the question so that I can get through my editing as quickly as possible.

I've been blessed to have a fairly vast vocabulary, so I'm pretty good at spelling. My grammar is also fairly decent as /br /br /br /

I also would like to think that a strength I have is that I try to put in as many minor tweaks as possible to where the work being edited is still the original author's work, not something that was re-written by myself. I want the author's talents to properly shine with the light polishing I provide, not be eclipsed by my attempts at making what I think are the "best-fit" options. If I see any editing that needs to be done that could potentially have a dramatic change of the feel of the chapter (changing point of view, adding in or deleting paragraphs, etc...), I will message you about it beforehand and try to provide different options for the author to choose from.

Time is not always on my side. Fortunately with summer break coming up, more time will be allotted for extra curricular activities.

Another potential weakness (it's kind of a weird one) that I have is that I sometimes phrase sentences in a manner that might seem awkward at first. I developed a habit of speaking like a person that is more than double my age, and thus having words without a tone (like speaking versus reading) might leave a meaning that could be inferred unintentionally or come across as strange when first read.

I really would like to stick to the realm of anime and manga franchises. I will consider other offers, but priority will go to anime and manga fan fictions.

I'm not really sure what would not be considered my cup of tea. I will consider all requests on a case-by-case basis, so that I can adequately tell the author why I did or did not decide to beta their story.
