I love reading fan fiction and it always hurts to see potential stories sink like the titanic because of bad grammar and horrible spelling errors, especially ones that can be easily avoided. I'll do my best to beta works as well as provide feedback. I'm not a nitpicker when it comes to overuse plots or cliches but if a character goes out of...well character without a reason (especially for ones I know best) barring parodies, then I'll comment.

Obvious spelling errors and bad grammars. As an avid fanfiction reader, I know what I like in a good story and more often than not, it's rarely about plot. Paragraph spacing, punctuation, avoidable typos and extreme OOCness. I'm also capable of detecting a Mary-sue/Gary-Stu.

I can't guarantee a 100 percent free of error work. I'm also rather slow to respond, but once I agree to beta read, I'll do my best to stick with your story till the end. I'm not very good with sentence structuring and I can't really give good plot ideas if you ask. I haven't written or publish anything for a good long while so that's also a weakness.

Slash (or Yaoi, to some) and anything associated to it (yes, that includes Mpreg). Gen fic, humor or family. I prefer anime over...everything else to be honest. However, I can and will beta for fandom of games (like FF7), movies (HTTYD, ROTG, Avengers 2012) and cartoons (Transformers, either the Michael Bay version or the old series)

Het fics, too much bashing of a character in a fic, r*pe fics and yuri. Unless yuri is but a small side pairing, then that's fine. OC romances and Mary-Sues. Self Insert fics with obvious intentions to romance a canon character without a buildup.
