Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My name is Tynit Atticus, as you've probably seen at the top of the screen, and, most likely, I am just like you. I want to write stories to entertain people, and chances are you want to do the same. I can help with that. If there is one thing that brings me as much satisfaction as making people enjoy my writing, it's helping other people, with basically anything. I try to read stories with an open mind, but I also want to be honest with my criticism. Also, I am an american, so if you just so happen to be British, (Or you just can't spell very well), try not to take it personally if I change the spelling of some words. Also, if you want me to beta read your story, try to take it seriously, and don't be that guy. And everybody knows that guy. So don't be that guy, and we'll get along fine! |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
The stories that I write are mostly video-game related, so that is really where my comfort zone is art for writing stories. If you have a video-game story, (preferably from characters that have appeared on a Nintendo or Sega console), then I would be happy to read it, but don't be afraid to send me stories about books or movies, because I read a lot and watch movies a lot, so there is a chance that I have read or seen your source material. |

Well, there are some genres that I like to read more than others, but I would be willing to read a story of any genre. But, there are exceptions to that, so see below. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Fics based off Teen Romance novels. For both girls and boys. Look, I'm sorry if I offend you with this statement, because I know that there are people that really like these books, but, to me, they suck baaaad. Now, I don't have a problem with stories that have romance in them, or shipping for that matter. (Yes, you can send your MarthXIke and ZeldaXLucina fics this way. Just try to have them be well written). But books like Fifty Shades of Grey and Twilight, please no. I'll just make you either mad or sad. Sorry. /br /br / br /br / br / Also, Please don't send me any fics with explicit sexual acts. Fics with M ratings are fine, but no sex, gay or not. Thank you. |
