Oh hello there, thanks for taking the time to read this. Since I thought it would be nice to give others constructive criticism and generally help with improving a story I said: "Why not?" and decided to put myself out there as a beta reader.

I believe my strengths are mainly in the my character writing abilities. I find myself wanting a character to be more than just a two dimensional cardboard cut out and to have some sort of personality, to an extent of course. Additionally, I can usually keep track of a story's plot or character progression and point out if there is any inconsistency or plot hole present.

I find myself to be very self critical of my own work and tend to over compensate for it by over correcting for it. Along with this I have a habit of coming off as being a bit rough in my criticisms though if asked I can usually elaborate if needed.

I usually prefer to read romance stories. (I'm a sucker for them) But I like to put time into stories with adventure, drama, friendship, hurt/comfort as well. Along with I usually like to read stories that have fantasy or sci-fi in them as well.

I tend to avoid tragedy themed stories, but only if they are written with the express purpose to make me feel like crap.
