As a beta-reader, I try to edit stories as best as I can and give tips on maybe what line doesn't make sense or has to flow better. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I consider myself good at fixing obvious grammar mistakes, fixing choppy sentences, and most importantly, editing the writing so it flows smoothly and does not seem out of place. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Since I am not knowledgeable enough at my age about subtle grammatical mistakes, I am not very good at finding the not very obvious mistakes in your writing, but I will do my best. :). |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta stories that are written based on a fandom that I know because it gives me more chances to give tips on character development and such, but I am not completely opposed to editing fics that are not written on a fandom I know. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I would definitely not want to beta read stories that are sexual in any way. |
