As the Beta Guide says, being a beta reader entails I read every fic with a critical eye, and with the aim of improving grammar, spelling, characterization, and general style of a story prior to its release to the general public. I can read anything from a twelve year old's first dive into fanfic to a veteran looking for a second opinion. Don't expect me to write your story for you, I'm just a helpful guide. |

Tense, both past and present. When a character talks or narrates and the "is" turns into "was", I don't even notice. |
