I don't know exactly how to "Explain who I am as a beta-reader", but I am able to pick out many errors. I just see them as I read. My eyes pick up on them fast. XD |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Reading and catching things most writers overlook. I know as a fact, that as a writer, you know your story so well, that you can easily look past any errors in spelling, grammar, etc. I've beta'd for several friends, and am quite confident in my abilities.br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / As a writer, I'm not the best. I actually write a lot of first-person as of late. I really can't say I have any strength, but others might disagree. XD |

My weakness as a beta, I'm not too sure. Maybe THAT is my weakness.br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / As a writer, my weakness is describing things. Making the reader see and feel what the characters do. As some would call it, "Don't tell them, SHOW them." |

Weird stuff. Like excessively weird. It's hard to explain, but you should be able to judge the difference.br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I also don't like the main characters being COMPLETELY helpless. It's no fun to read if they are extremely predictable. Show some variety! |
