Hi there. I'm relatively new as a beta-reader, but I do hope that won't deter you from any requests. I'd like to think that I'm fairly on-time when you have things that need to be done, but if I do happen to be delayed I'll give you a good reason and time of delay. I would also like to think that I am somewhat competent in grammar, if that's a problem. If you've got a story plot and you need help cleaning it up or you just wanna talk about it like - hey I don't know if this will work or hey, may I draw from your brain for new shit to write or hey, I'm dying and I want to chat - feel free to do so. I'm not an expert at editing, but I will certainly read, sift and research thoroughly to help you write. Characterization and story plot depends on what kind of story you have - I'm more familiar with some and less familiar with others (KHR! for example - you'll have to tell me what your fic is first).

And also, while I'm editing, it'd be nice to just talk once in a while. Let's be friends yo. A strict editor-author relationship kinda makes me sad actually. So let's be friends. Also, also, I will criticize you. Not badly of course, but sometimes...if you want me to be harsh you're going to have to tell me and I will. (Or at least try to be). If you're looking for harshly critical that's probably not me.

I'm not really sure about strengths since I'm new so... But as I said, I'm okay in English grammar, so if you don't know your basics, consider it covered. But anything complicated like some fancy, schmancy phrases/clauses will leave me dumbfounded. But know that I will do my best to help you in whichever way I can. I'm competent in word choice and cutting down extra fluff if need be. I'd like to think I'm good at excising material that isn't necessary meaning that it doesn't contribute to plot or characterization.

Romance. What is that. I have read romance and have attempted to write some myself, but I don't think you should take from my example. Dialogue is also extremely troublesome for me. That and humor. Sometimes I think it's forced. I have trouble being prompt nowadays. Maybe it's because I've suddenly been saddled by things or maybe it's because I've become lazy - I don't know. But expect a later response then you would like. That way you'll be pleasantly surprised that I reply faster than a several days (or more) at a time.

I like action stuff. Like, bring on the big guns yo. OCs are also welcome here. If your OC is Mary Sue-ish I'll help you un-Mary Sue them - but that aside I think OCs are fun to read. I like AUs a lot and I don't really care if you burn through canon or make your own as long as it's plausible. Hell I burn through canon a lot myself (aha...ha...).

I don't really do stories revolving mostly around smut. I mean, you can have smut just as long as that's not what the entire story is about. As long as its not a story solely about sex then I'm cool with a roll in the hay. Just...just don't expect any good pointers about how to write those scenes because I'm largely inexperienced in that area. I KNOW I'M LAME OKAY.
