I am an English teacher (mostly senior lit). I don't mind minor editing, but a lack of basic punctuation, formatting/paragraphs, or spell check is a put-off. I have little patience for stories in which characters differ wildly from their on-page or on-screen personas. I struggle to appreciate certain stories, though I am still happy to beta them. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I love angst. Friendship, romance, humor (as long as the characters are true), action/adventure, and mystery are great! |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
AU, crossovers, song/poetry fic, and super dark stories aren't my cup of tea. |
