Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a beta-reader who likes to add substance to a fiction. Also, I enjoy the grunt work of fixing grammar and spelling. However, I expect that any fanfics I get to beta have an actual plot and aren't too silly. I also expect credit for my work in the summary and/or author's note of any story I beta. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths are that I'm good with fixing grammar and spelling in English and French, primarily English, and that I am a hardworking person who likes to deepen the plots of stories so they're more interesting and intriguing. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weaknesses are that if I lose inspiration in a story I'm writing, I won't update it for weeks. Also, I don't always give a warning for spoilers in the summaries of my stories and I don't bother to look up the timelines of certain characters in my favourite fandoms when I'm writing a story about them, so the story ends up being slightly AU. |
