Honest and blunt, but not intentionally offensive.

Vocabulary, grammar, have knowledge in several fields and I'm good at taking the realistic approach to things.

While not necessarily weak, I'm neither particularly good at creating long, complex, but interesting dialogue.

I commend authors that are realistic and logical, especially in regards to the human psyche and behavior. I also have a very anti-black and white view on situations and life in general, which means, for example, I like stories with characters, both good and bad guys, that have both virtues and faults. I'm fond of intelligent dialogue too.

I don't like overt idealism in general, only in moderated doses. I'd rather not read about overtly-virtuous characters to whom good things seem to happen on a near-constant basis. On that note, I'm not fond bashing. I'm not really partial to stories that are too mired in sentimentality and emotion either.
