I'm assuming that if you're asking me to beta something for you, then you want constructive criticism. That's what I will provide. I keep an eye out for spelling, grammar, etc., but also general plot pieces and whether your character's voice is straying from what it sounds like you want. I will also lavish you with praise if you do a most excellent job with something.

I might give you a pretty strong opinion on whether or not I think a particular plot point makes sense. My thought is generally that it is better to get rid of something that is clumsily executed than to try to make it mediocre and end up with work that is overall mediocre.

I have a cursory knowledge of lots of things and an in depth knowledge of a few. That is to say, I welcome most subjects and genres but I won't pretend to be an expert on everything. I enjoy fluff, angst, romance, scifi...generally most of the things.

Twilight fanfic. I can't get over the idea of sparkly vampires being OK (they will always explode in the sun to me). Additionally, if you're using a lot of non con/rape themes, I'm probably not going to be a good beta for you.
