I am willing to take on most stories and critique them as much as the author feels I need to. I will mention that I tend to look at grammar first, then the consistency of ideas and the style of the story itself. I tend to state my opinions as bluntly as possible when it comes to what I think needs to be altered, so if you're looking for strong criticism I am your reader! Mostly I just give notes and avoid making major alterations to the story itself without the author's consent.

I'm pretty good at giving people notes on what I think should be right with my own opinions in mind. I enjoy detailed passages so I always try to suggest more detail when necessary with the proper amount of words to avoid exposition. I tend to write action sequences quite well. (I'm also really good at writing comedy, but as most fanfic is angst I doubt that will be very useful.)

As a writer I don't always pay attention to detailing every part of one story and instead might breeze through parts just to get to another part. The need to get to certain scenes has decreased enough that I can focus on every part of a story and allow it to flow much better than I used to, but it's still something I'm working on. I'm also not the greatest dialogue writer, but I've definitely improved since I became a beta-reader and I intend to keep it that way.

I'll pretty much read anything. I would rather only read the ones that are listed in my categories but I may take ones that aren't listed if I happen to know what they are. I'm willing to read pretty much every ship (although of course I have shipping preferences, don't we all) and I tend to prefer Harry Potter and Newsies stories above all else but like I said, I'll read mostly anything in my categories or anything that I know of.

I would prefer not to deal with overly smutty stories. Not a fan of crossovers either.
